How a logo gets made

Good branding is rarely the first idea. Here’s the path most projects take, shown with real sketches and screen captures from client and personal work.

01

Sketch first

Every mark starts on paper. Pages of quick thumbnails let ideas compete before any of them earns screen time.

02

From pencil to final

The strongest sketch gets refined and rebuilt as clean vector art. The Your Other Left RV Travels badge went from a hand-drawn layout to the finished logo.

03

Drawing on screen

Illustration and lettering move to the iPad, where line weight, spacing and color are tuned by hand.

04

Explore the options

Type, weight and arrangement get tested side by side so the client can see the range before choosing.

Then it ships

Final files are delivered in every format you need for print, web and social, along with simple guidelines so the brand stays consistent.
